  • WhatsApp components that can be used in flow

    The aforementioned components are in-chat functionality that can be enabled for business phone numbers. They make it easy for WhatsApp users to communicate with your business.

    1. Send WhatsApp
      • This enables the bot to send WhatsApp messages to a user when an incoming message is received. 2 types of messages can be sent to a user:
        • Custom Message - Message of your choice
        • WhatsApp Template - Templates that are registered with Meta, you can find more details about this here.
        • Fill in the below details:
          • From - Set it as {{Start.whatsapp.to}} so that the number on which the message was received from the user will be used to reply.
          • To - Set it as {{Start.whatsapp.from}} so that message is sent to the user’s number, from which message was received
        • This also supports media - Images, Audio, Videos & Documents
        • This component can serve multiple usecases - You can greet first time users with a welcome message or configure ice breakers.
    2. WhatsApp Conversation
      • This enables interactions between customers and customer service representatives via the WhatsApp messaging platform.
      • This is generally used with ‘Outgoing WhatsApp’

    3. Send and Await Reply
      • This enables the bot to send messages and wait to receive the customer’s response within a certain time (Reply Timeout).
      •  2 types of messages can be sent -  Custom Message and WhatsApp Template, as mentioned in Send WhatsApp.
      • Using the different content types of the custom message in this component allows your users a simpler way to find and select what they want from your business on WhatsApp

        • Multi-product message

      • The details of each content types is mentioned below:
        • Text - Simple text message which also supports variables
        • Image/Audio/Video/Document - You can select any one of the options and upload the file or use your file hosted URL.
        • Single-product message
          • Messages with a single product item from the business's inventory.
          • You get the Catalog ID and Product Retailer ID from your FB Business Account → Commerce Manager.
      • Multi-product message
        • Messages containing a selection of up to 30 items from the business's inventory.
        • You get the Catalog ID and Product Retailer ID from your FB Business Account → Commerce Manager.
      • Message with Buttons
        • Messages including up to 3 options —each option is a button. This type of message offers a quicker way for users to make a selection from a menu when interacting with a business.

      • List Message 
        • Messages including a menu of up to 10 options. This type of message offers a simpler and more consistent way for users to make a selection when interacting with a business.
